Holiday House Distributing Names Barbara Russell President
Longtime executive steps into the role as founders Butch and Lynn enter retirement.
Holiday House Distributing (HHD) is pleased to announce the appointment of longtime executive Barbara Russell as president, marking a leadership transition as founders Butch and Lynn retire.
Barbara’s history with HHD began in 1984 in accounts receivable. Her career has since spanned decades of customer relationships, industry involvement, and leadership, including her role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She brings to the presidency a deep understanding of the company, its customers, and the industries it serves.
A respected voice in coffee service
In 2020, the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) named Barbara its Coffee Legend, making her the first woman to receive the award. She was a founding member of NAMA’s Women in the Industry group and has served on the association’s Coffee Services and Trade Show Advisory Committees.
At HHD, that same commitment to the industry has taken a practical form. Barbara introduced Holiday House Foundations in OCS, the company’s first educational summit, bringing together attendees to share knowledge and best practices for running an office coffee service business.
With thanks to Butch and Lynn
As Butch and Lynn enter retirement, we thank them for the dedication, relationships, and years of work that built Holiday House Distributing. Their legacy is reflected in the business they established and the people who have helped it grow.
Barbara’s appointment carries that history forward. With an experienced leader who knows HHD from the inside out, we look forward to continuing our work with the customers, vendors, and industry partners who have been part of the company’s story.
