How It Works
The SmartValve uses water pressure to sense water
flow. It activates a shut-off valve after a preset amount of water
has been dispensed. At normal flow rates the valve will allow
approximately 2-5 gallons (based on flow) to be dispensed in any one
dispensing action. If a leak is detected, and more than the set
level is dispensed, the valve will cut off the water flow. If the
valve cuts off water flow, the reset button must be pressed to
restart the water flow.

NOTE:
SmartValve is extremely sensitive to water flow. Unit will shut
off prematurely if water flow does not stop.
Cannot be used prior to RO tanks and/or holding
tanks.
*For water cooler application, SmartValve works
best with newer coolers utilizing advanced technology and an
advanced float system.
